"I had just signed with Def Jam after LA Reid dropped me. He thought about
it. He said, 'I think I need to pick you back up.' So I gave him a few months
to think about it after he asked me then I finally said yes. So I'll be going
to record a Christmas album with Mariah Carey and some other kids and I'm
just moving right along."
