那是個青澀懵懂的年代大多數的同學的話題仍在追逐著國語流行樂壇往前進一點的談論著粵語歌曲西洋音樂/東洋音樂? 那是個有皮毛碰觸就足以高人一等的年代只有少之又少的先行者已經開始踏入全球音樂的世界我還依稀記得賴麒仰看似時髦的拿出Michael Jackson的專輯與東東七嘴八舌討論的場景...那時候MJ的音樂對我們大多數同學來說都是遙不可及前衛尖端的新玩意兒............ 不能否認多少都存有虛榮的動機在我拿到了一張請賴麒仰幫忙拷貝的錄音帶也看似有模有樣的聽起了Michael的音樂雖然一開始的喜悅來自於莫名的自豪跟新鮮但我知道後來吸引我可以Repeat上百次的原因沒有別的就只是單純音樂那年我14歲 Michael Jackson即將來台灣展開史上最有名西洋歌手的演唱會 Michael Jackson的精選輯是我人生的第一張西洋專輯我很榮幸第一張就是堪稱20世紀後期最高級的傑作那個資訊封閉的年代或許不是每個人都真正了解Michael Jackson的背景 MTV台的發展也才方興未艾最多相關資訊的或許是很多人年輕時共同的記憶半夜起來打開電視冷門時段的"余光音樂雜誌" 不過從Billie Jean,到Black & White 從Beat it到Dangerous 幾乎街頭巷尾人人都會哼個幾句彆扭的模仿怪叫個幾聲搭配著別人學來只有詭異跟猥褻的自摸下體還有滑不動的月球漫步... 而這些作品就算放到今日都還是那麼經典那樣的跨越時間但是真正讓我對Michael Jackson佩服的五體投地讓我百聽不厭始終感動的還是"Heal the World"這首如詩般的作品.......................... 包括"We are the World" Michael Jackson在流行音樂底下始終都有如此人道格局開闊歌詞意境感人肺腑的傑作真正讓我意識到他是個天才是他在前衛的曲風引領潮流的華麗舞蹈之下他還真正擁有作為一個歌手真正難能可貴的天賦與價值---詞曲創作要能寫出"Heal the World"這樣的歌曲有多難得我想任何一個創作相關工作者真的都會肅然起敬意識到那難度有多高沒有無謂的文字賣弄華麗辭藻卻成就最單純的大器作品而且也只有如他發自內心誠懇善良而柔美的歌聲才能夠完美的詮釋這首歌的精神直到靈魂深處 Michael Jackson最讓我折服的地方莫過於此他的音樂絕對不僅僅是商業是產品更是一種文化一種創作一種絕對的藝術而如今這個極多種天賦於一身令人欽羨的絕頂天才就這麼走了在他還留下些微可能第三度踏上台灣演唱之前年少時的遺憾再也無法被彌補取而代之的只有眼睜睜見證一個美好時代結束的空虛與無奈........ 但或許這是人生充滿悲劇無法見容於這世界價值觀的Michael Jackson 最好的一種解脫...從今以後你可以自由自在的追尋你所渴望的美好&單純 There's a place in your heart And I know that it is love And this place could be much brighter than tomorrow And if you really try You'll find there's no need to cry In this place You'll feel there's no hurt or sorrow There are ways to get there If you care enough for the living Make a little space Make a better place Heal the world Make it a better place For you and for me and the entire human race There are people dying If you care enough for the living Make a better place for you and for me If you want to know why There's a love that cannot lie Love is strong It only cares for joyful giving If we try We shall see In this bliss we cannot feel Fear or dread We stop existing and start living Then it feels that always Love's enough for us growing Make a better world Make a better world...
