CHECK OUT HOPES AND FEARS AT ISLAND 50 SITE
As you probably know by now, Keane's label, Island Records, is celebrating its
50th anniversary this year. Keane's first album, Hopes and Fears, has been
chosen from the label's huge back catalogue as one of Island's 50 best albums,
in celebration of their anniversary. There is a section at island50.com
dedicated to the album which gives the opportunity for fans of the album to
write their own review and upload photos.
Each week the site and its newsletter will be giving an Island 50 t-shirt to
the lucky reader who has added the most appropriate album/gig review and/or
image to the website. And each month the best of those winners will also
receive a copy of 'Keep on Running: the Story of Island Records'.
