Costumes fiasco just avoided

PHEW, FOUND IT: Singer Kit Chan trying on the costume inspired
by Star Wars' Queen Amidala.
MAYBE Kit Chan's designer had a premonition. That Kit would
need a Queen Amidala-like costume to preside over storms.
Last Tuesday, her concert costumes went missing.
Luckily, the taxi-driver who found the bag of clothes, worth
$50,000, in his car-boot returned it two days later.
Then it happened again.
Her mentor-cum-music director Billy Koh couldn't find his Nissan
Sunny after a rehearsal that ended at 4am last Saturday.
He discovered it had been towed away by the police because he had
parked it illegally outside their Bukit Pasoh studio.
He was fined $160 for the offence.
With just two more days before her concert, we are praying that
there will be no other mess-up.
Otherwise, the 7,000 fans who have bought tickets to her Singapore
Indoor Stadium concert will be disappointed.
