In 2010, Janice Yan entered the singing competition One Million Star. She set a record by winning five weeks in a row.* Later, she won the championship* on Million Star: Star Legend. After the season ended, everyone believed that her singing career would take off. However, the pressure from taking part in the competition affected her health. Because of this, she decided to hold back on starting a career for a while. 閻奕格於二○一○年參加《超級星光大道》踢館賽，創下蟬連五週全勝的紀錄，之後更在《星光傳奇賽》獲得冠軍。當季賽事結束後，原本演藝事業備受各界看好，卻因為參賽時的壓力影響了健康，因而決定暫緩歌唱事業。 For a few years after that, Janice suffered from depression.* She almost quit singing. Luckily, many people around her still supported her. She used their help and took time to work on her mind and body. Finally, she became strong and confident once again. She stopped being negative and became a more positive person. She was even a shoulder to cry on for her friends. Everyone told her their troubles. 之後的幾年裡，閻奕格飽受抑鬱之苦，幾乎要放棄唱歌，還好身邊有很多人支持她，她仰賴這股力量，花時間努力調整好自己的身心狀態，最終重拾堅強自信的自己。她不再消極，變得更加開朗，甚至成了朋友們倚靠的肩膀，大家都會找她吐露心事。 Now, Janice released her first album at last. With it, she wants to send everyone a message. She says, "When you are in a bad situation, just tell yourself 'I have myself,' and believe it.
