In regards to criticism over my last post Hi everyone, This is meant to address some upsetting responses I received to my last post. Just because I love my dog and want to help animals, doesn't mean I don't have compassion or love for the 四川earthquake victims. It also doesn't mean I haven't done charity for the earthquake tragedy. I have. I apologize if my post about my dog make some people (or one person in particular) uncomfortable, but it does not mean in any way that I haven't done my part to help the victims. I have also worked at earthquake relief charity events, donated, and had been planning a trip to help with my sister, but things like these events are not always in our control. Our company and the artists in our company all care deeply about what has happened, and we have all been doing what we can to help. I have been and will continue to do my part to help, bc in difficult times like these I believe it's important to come together to make a big difference. Assuming that just bc I donate and volunteer for animals means I haven't done anything or don't care about the tragedy in 四川 is very hurtful to me, bc I do care. I think anyone with an ounce of humanity would care. I have family in China; I have friends in China. Of course I have felt deep compassion and sadness for what has happened. To say that I don't or that I "better" do something isn't the right way to encourage someone to take action, so please don't encourage others using this method. Lead by example, not by criticism. Not everything I have done is written about in my blog. I don't write every detail of my daily life in my blog. Bc I haven't written about doing something doesn't mean that I haven't done it already. Please do not make empty assumptions about others, bc they can be hurtful. I have been emotionally affected and touched by the events in China, and writing about it takes a good deal of emotion and brings about painful feelings, but if I use that energy in a positive way and DO SOMETHING about it instead, isn't that even better? So yes, I have worked to help the victims, and I will continue to do so, I just haven't written a blog entry about it bc some of the best actions go unspoken in my opinion. I truly hope my blog isn't a place where people will come to argue and bring discontentment. So, to take something positive away from the negative comments, I do encourage everyone to come together and help, regardless if you personally know people affected by the disaster or not, we are all people and must come together for humankind. Love and peace...thanks for reading =) <3 ivy 網址 http://tinyurl.com/6xmf7q -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 123.252.87.61
