A daily newspaper in Hanoi, “Hanoi Muh-ee (New Hanoi)” reported on the 11th on it’s internet edition, using a legal newspaper from Ho Chi-Min (Saigon) as its source, that SHK purchased 50 units of an illicit drug from a Hong Kong nightclub for weight loss purposes. According to this newspaper, singer Rain and actor Song Il-Kook were there with her at the time that she was obtaining the drugs. Also, the newspaper claimed that when Song Il-Kook was cross-examined about the incident, he acknowledged that while he had gone to a night club with SHK he did not know anything about the drug charges. Then Hanoi Muh-ee added that SHK denied purchasing any illicit drugs to the very end. Following this, manager Park Hyun-Jung from SHK’s management agency Sidus HQ said, “SHK has never been in Hong Kong and the fact that this absurd and baseless report is being circulated is really regrettable,” adding that after careful investigation they will start dealing with this. According to top Vietnamese Korean Wave news reporter, Dang Tiwoo Ungun from the weekly Vietnam entertainment magazine “Movie World”, “After hearing from my bosses that there was an internet report circulating about SHK, I went to check out that site and saw this baseless report”, adding that “I plan to set the false reports straight in the next issue of Movie World that comes out.” Ungun reporter continued on that, “From what was gathered talking to the reporters in question, it seems that they just took reports from a Chinese entertainment internet site without checking any facts,” and “After this ridiculous report spread, I received calls from many places requesting confirmation regarding this.” Korean wave fan Tu-ee (female, 23, office employee) said, “The report was so absurd that I didn’t believe it from the beginning”, but “even if it is an overseas entertainer, they should not be spreading reports without checking facts first.” SHK is currently riding the top of the Korean wave there through Full House, which is currently being broadcast on Hanoi TV. 2005/08/12 20:30 shkim@yna.co.kr Translated by hyesa2 (http://hyesa.com) ※ 編輯: shishir77 來自: 218.165.0.44 (08/13 16:39)
