在Master Of The Rings獲得好評之後，1996年Helloween他們準備製作和發行一張專輯
來紀念前任鼓手Ingo Schwichtenberg。Ingo因為毒品問題，最後在1995年時選擇臥軌自
殺，結束了他的生命。在這樣的情況下，Helloween也發行了The Time Of The Oath這張
專輯，來懷念他們的第一任鼓手。
這張專輯的團員和上張一樣，團員有：Andi Deris (Vocals)、Michael Weikath
(Guitars)、Roland Grapow (Guitars)、Markus Grosskopf (Bass)和Uli Kusch (Drums)
。這張專輯也被選為當年度的經典專輯之一，Helloween也被日本Burrn雜誌票選為年度
樂團。如果說Master Of The Rings是Helloween重新出發之作，那麼The Time Of The
Oath則是把Helloween推向第二個高峰之作。
這張專輯是Helloween首張集體創作之作，團員所有人都參與了寫歌和製作。12首歌加上
兩首Bonus，70多分鐘的專輯讓人會一聽再聽。除了封面類似Keeper Of The Seven Keys
外，14首歌的創作都很值得聆聽。
We Burn、Steel Tormentor、Power、Before The War等歌都相當有力道。Forever And
Ones (Neverland)是相當動聽的慢板歌曲。Mission Motherland和The Time Of The Oath
是本張專輯的兩大長篇。Anything My Mama Don't Like和Still I Don't Know是兩首相
當輕鬆的歌曲。
不少樂評和樂迷都認為這張專輯是繼Keeper Of The Seven Keys後的最佳專輯，當然除了
他們的紀念性質以外，Helloween已經走出Michael Kiske出走的陰霾，開創新一波的高峰
和經典。
