3/20是約翰藍儂和小野洋子的結婚紀念日於是約翰的官方IG就將這首歌的MV貼了出來（事實上這支MV水管也找得到） https://www.instagram.com/p/CMpfQuGpQ9C/ 並也於標題中重述了當年他們結婚時的一些往事應該是擷取自約翰以前受訪的一些內容 JOHN & YOKO GET MARRIED, 20 March 1969. We wanted to get married on a cross-channel ferry. That was the romantic part. 我們想在一艘渡海峽的渡輪上結婚，這是浪漫的部分。 We went to Southampton and couldn't get on because she wasn't English, and she couldn't get the Day Visa to go across. They said, 'You can't get married. The Captain's not allowed to do it any more.' 我們去了南安普頓，但由於她不是英國人因此登不了船，而她也拿不到跨海峽所需的簽證。他們說「你們不能結婚了，上頭規定說不行了。」 THE BALLAD OF JOHN & YOKO. It's the 'Pillar of Hercules' and also they called it the 'End of the World'. They thought the world outside was a mystery, so it was like the Gateway to the World. It didn't matter what the reporters said, because our commercial went out irrespective. After answering all these questions many, many times, it got down to: All we were saying was 'Give Peace A Chance'. 我們想「為什麼他們不能在報紙上說些好話呢？」因為我們的宣導最後都被模糊掉，記者說了什麼其實也無所謂了。在回答這些問題無數次後，最後歸納出的答案是：我們所要說的就是「給和平一個機會」。另外幾個和這首歌相關的趣事： 1.雖然MV裡出現四位成員一起練團的畫面，但其實披頭四錄製這首歌時喬治和林哥一個不在英國、一個跑去拍電影，約翰又急著想把這首歌完成，所以最後就只有約翰和保羅負責這首歌的錄製：約翰負責主唱和吉他，保羅負責合聲、貝斯、鋼琴和鼓。這在 1969年這個大家普遍認為約翰和保羅兩人間已經關係很糟的氛圍下還能一起完成這首作品根本是奇蹟。因此這首又被外國歌迷稱作「The Ballad of John and Paul」。在其中一個take中，你可以聽到曲子一開始約翰對著在鼓座上的保羅說： 'Go a bit faster, Ringo.' 「要快一點，林哥。」而保羅也回約翰： 'OK, George!' 「沒問題，喬治！」 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwzHeAnFqrk

不過，後來被問到這首歌時，喬治反應倒是很冷淡： 'I didn't mind not being on the record, because it was none of my business.
