Reason being? On Wednesday's Ellen DeGeneres Show, Benedict said the term Cumb erbitch makes him "squirm a little bit." He was also quick to point out that h e didn't give his fans that name! "I definitely didn't," he said. "That's part of my problem with it. I just went, 'Ladies, this is wonderful. I'm very flat tered, but has this not set feminism back a little bit? Empower yourselves if you're going to get silly about a guy with maybe a little bit more of a sort o f you know a high-regard, self-regarding name!'" "But yeah, they were very sweet," he went on. "They wrote back and were like, 'Well we didn't mean any harm to feminism! We're just having a little bit of f un with your name.'" Cumberbatch is a great name, but the dad-to-be agreed with Ellen that he and S ophie "have to be careful with the first name" of their little one when it's b eing paired with last name like that. From there, Ellen went over a variety of suggestions, and believe it or not, Benedict seemed quite receptive to some of her baby name ideas! What does he think of Ingelburg Cumberbatch?
