Actually, I do really appreciate Jay Chou, not because of his frame, but the way he arranges the song, especially the FIRST album. May people think he's not changing, same styles and same notes, just don't care about this first, when U pay attention to the way he uses the harmony, U can see he treats "voices" as a kind of instrument, and he never over-uses it. The way I learn is to stick to the arrangement, I love appreciating the way people express a song, it's not less important than the melody. When U found there many smarties inside the song, U'll be truly happy~ It's really so COOL to figure it out~~ By the way, do U guys have some suggestions of groovy things? May be some kinds of cool bossa nova or blues? Or some special stuff with interesting and funny percussion?
